Founded in 2006 and based in Watervliet, New York, we envisioned a team of accountants offering critical back office financial support to small businesses and non-profit organizations in a way that strengthened their organization and leadership. Specifically, we set out to fill a void between small businesses and their CPAs and payroll providers. Traditional CPA firms prepare taxes and provide financial guidance but cannot provide businesses with ongoing day-to-day support due to independence restrictions.

Payroll companies provide payroll software, but do not provide guidance and often charge significant fees.

Management Team

Dave Brownell, CPA

Dave joined DALLE Accounting in 2016 as Director of Accounting Services after serving in various Chief Financial Officer and operations roles. Prior to that, Dave worked in public accounting, six years with a Big Four firm. Dave brings a technical accounting acumen to his clients that helps them strengthen their reliance on accounting information, make strong business decisions, and maintain regulatory compliance. Dave holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting from Siena College and is a NYS Licensed CPA.

Jim Chiaravalle

After a strong career in the hospitality industry, Jim joined DALLE Accounting as a Director of Accounting Services in 2018 to strengthen our service team. Supervising a team of accounting professionals, Jim helps his clients evaluate operational efficiency, prepare budgets, and ensure compliance with a variety of regulatory requirements. Jim holds a bachelor's degree of Business Administration in Accounting from Siena College and prior to working in the hospitality industry, had a short career as a tax preparer and auditor.
